How to install a 4 wire RTD to the PXU control

PLEAE NOTE 

The rear input terminals are the same on all three DIN size PXU series controls. 

Note the PXU series process control can support 2,3, and 4 wire PT100 RTDs.

The purpose of this article is to explain the proper wiring of a PT100 4 wire RTD to a PXU series process control.

For the purposes of this example, the PXU 1/16^TH DIN unit will be discussed paired with a PT100 RTD with the below color combination. However, any PXU series DIN size will be similar. 

PXU 1/16^TH DIN rear terminals

             PT100 4 wire RTD

Depending on the brand of your RTD the color code may vary but the wiring principle is the same.

Wiring:

PXU terminal 10 BLK (R4 and R3)

PXU terminal 11 RED (R2)

PXU terminal 12 RED (R1)
