Abstract
This tech note will provide instructions to enable Precision Time Protocol (PTP) on N-Tron series NT24k switch models. PTP license key files are respective and restricted to NT24k models based on the MAC address ID. Before loading the license file verify the NT24k switch MAC address and license file MAC address match.
N-Tron® Series NT24k (All Models)
Login to the NT24k switch web interface and browse to the File Transfer menu.
The NT24k_license_ptp_00_07_af_xx_xx_xx.lic file will be selected for the File Name.
Once the import is complete, power cycle the NT24k and verify the PTP menu is now available.
