This document explains the steps required to upgrade firmware.

Use Case
Update firmware to take advantage of the new features or fixed issues.
Required Software
Tool Kit 5.0.101 or later.
Upgrading Firmware
- Download the latest firmware package for the ST-IPm-8460. Extract the the zip file to the directory of your choice. Please note where the file was extracted to.
- Connect to the ST-IPm-8460 with Ethernet (Network 1 or Network 2) and serial port B. Connect to serial port B with the RJ45-DB9F-IPm serial adapter or equivalent.
- Then go to Operations-->Advanced Operations-->Upgrade Firmware. The Firmware loader wizard will open. Follow the instructions on the screen to update the firmware.
- Verify successful firmware update by going to Operations-->Advanced Operations-->Read Firmware Version.
