- Power on your Ewon Edge (24VDC).
- The ACT Led should slowly blink when the Edge gateway is stable and running.
- Connect the WAN cable to the WAN port of the Ewon Edge (Port #4)
- If DHCP is enabled on your network, the Edge gateway should automatically connect to the Ewon Cloud and the UPLINK led should turn on.
- If your WAN connection requires a static IP configuration, preventing the Edge gateway from connecting to the Ewon Cloud at the moment, please proceed with the procedure.
- Open your web browser on the URL "https://www.ewoncloud.com"
- Register or login to the Ewon Cloud if you are already registered.
- In the Machines list, click "ADD A MACHINE"
- Follow the configuration wizard by entering the name, description and the Serial number & Activation code. These two are located on the left's side sticker of the device :
- At the next step, the Ewon Cloud will add the device to your space and try to detect if the device is currently connected (UPLINK Led).
- If the device is detected, you will be prompted to enter the LAN IP address of the Edge.
- If the device is not detected, you'll have the possibility to run a "WAN configuration through USB" wizard. This wizard will generate a zip file that must be unzipped to your FAT32 USB drive. Once done, just insert the USB drive to the USB port of the running Ewon Edge gateway, wait the ACT Led becomes steady green and remove the USB drive.
If the configuration is correct, the Ewon Edge should then connect to the Ewon cloud and the UPLINK Led will be switched on.
- You are now ready to remote access your machine through the Ewon Edge gateway.
