This KB describes how to set up AWB5221 to connect to the Internet using a SIM card

PRE-REQUISITES
Check the frequency band supported by the SIM card with your telecom carrier
AWB5221 Cellular standards:
LTE cat.4 2x2 MIMO, 4G/3G/2G fall back
LTE-FDD: B1/B2/B3/B4/B5/B7/B8/B12/B13/B18/B19/B20/B25/B26/B28
LTE-TDD: B38/B39/B40/B41
WCDMA: B1/B2/B4/B5/B6/B8/B19

System Settings
Open the browser and enter the default IP address 192.168.10.1 and the default user name & password admin. Change the password as prompted and go to the configuration page System>Network Settings. Select Static IP from the IP Assignment option and enter the changed IP address, subnet mask, and gateway
The next step is to configure the DHCP. Set Path System>DHCP Server
- DHCP Settings option Select Enable
- IP Address Start- Assign the start address of the ip address range
- IP Address End- Assign the end address of the ip address range
- Primary/Secondary DNS Server-Enter the DNS address supported by the local carrier
Cellular Settings
Celluar Settings,Set Path Cellular> Cellular Settings
- Cellular Interface-If Disable is selected, the interface is disabled
- SIM Selection-Select a SIM card in slot 1/2
- Cellular Redundant-Select Enable to insert two SIM cards
- Network Type-The default is auto
- SIM APN-Obtained from the telecom carrier
- SIM User Name/Password-If the user name and password are not configured for the SIM card, leave them blank
- SIM Authentication-CHAP ciphertext transmission and PAP plaintext transmission
- Submit-Confirm configuration
Click the Save button to save the configuration
