Cannot export ViewOn v4.5.1 program to Flexy 205
When I use the ViewOn application to export the program, these are my project properties:
When I export, I get 30 seconds of this:
followed by several minutes of this:
Followed up by this:
But my FTP settings are just the default at both the site where it works and the site where it doesn't.
The strange part is that this exact same program went into a Flexy at a different site with no issues and it works fine. When I try to simply FTP the ViewOn folder taken from the good site into the /usr folder of the problem site using File Explorer and my laptop, I get this:

SOLVED!
This issue was found as we were installing 16 new eWONs.at various locations.
I had one site that would accept an export and one that wouldn't.
This afternoon, I found all the other sites also worked just fine.
On a whim, I checked the tags and both sites had all necessary tags and both had been imported into the ViewOn Project. That did NOT resolve the situation. So, I copied all the tags from a good site to a config.txt file and used FTP to transfer the "correct tag order" to the troublesome unit.
It accepted the export without a hitch... problem solved.
I don't understand why that was important, but from now on, I'll need to remember that if you are installing a ViewOn project into multiple eWONs, you need to ensure that the tags are all in the same exact order.1 -
Are you using the 'adm' user?
Please make sure to use the 'adm' user and password.

I use adm and adm when I use ViewOn to export... and like I say, this worked fine at one site, but won't work at a second site.
All the little files seem to transfer, but it always crashes on the two bigger Java Script files. One is about 350K and one is 270K.
Do I need to set up the FTP configuration in the eWon itself?
(address, user, password), and should I be using passive or active mode?
The ViewOn software also lets me set that up in project properties, along with mode.
Why would only the larger files cause an issue?0 -

No, you shouldn't need to. The default should be working.
> (address, user, password), and should I be using passive or active mode?
Passive tends to work best in most circumstances, but if it's failing, I would try active.

Try increasing the timeout. Perhaps it's timing out because the larger file takes longer to transfer.
Are you seeing any errors in the Ewon Event Logs?
I don't think the files are too big for memory, but it could depend on what else is already using memory. It may be a good idea to create a support case and send us the backup with support files and ViewON project.

Same response... even with matching everything and longer timeouts.
Same for Active Mode.
Also, I have lots of available memory. This is only a 1 meg application in an 11 meg space.0 -
Excellent - thank you for the update!
