Wireless communication issue between Bolt and Bridge ||
Dear Community,
We have an issue of communication between 2 Wireless Bolt set up as client and one Wireless Bridge || set up as Access point.
The configuration is in bridge mode and seems to be ok between the devices before put them into the real environment pings seems to be ok.
Configuration under test:
[PC1] -> eth cable to [BOLT1 (client)] ----- Wi-FI ----- [BRIDGE|| (AP)] -> eth cable to [PC2]
Test ping between PC1 and PC2 -> from 5 to 40 ms
When we left the ping -t between 2 devices and we use iperf to create multiple connections [>10] between PC (one as client and one as server - TCP with packet of 10kbit) the ping left open in previous windows start drop packages and ms are increased.
Between the 2 wifi devices there are only few centimeters.
When we try to put the devices on real environments we lose all the connection between plcs and hmi . As industrial protocol on real environment we have only ethernet/ip.
The actual firmware on the device is the last one version - 2.07.00 [11:58:31,May 15 2023]
Could you please help us? We tried all the combinations even with 2.4 GHz & 5 GHz and Bluetooth.
Is there any other test that we can do?
iperf3 commands:
client side (PC1): iperf3.exe -c PC2 -P 10 -w 10k
client side (PC2): iperf3.exe -s
Thank you in advance, Massimiliano.

Hi Massimiliano,
Here are some general Tipps on how to connect the two successfully:
(Using the Mode Buttons, being mindful of the RPI (Cycle times) and Timeouttimes)
- This is a case that is already switched to a Ticket I just saw. You will get help with the Analysis from my colleagues in the Ticket then. Please refer to your open Ticket.
