What error codes are you getting when you run the internet wizard?

I actually just got it to work. I had to set the APN for vzwims. This was rather difficult because I could not find a step by step setup guide anywhere for Verizon. I also could not find the APN on the eWon website.

    Hey Mike,

Sorry for the inconvenience, In the newest firmware coming out they are making a dropdown menu to select available APNs

I am seting up the second eWon flexy 205 with the eWon Verizon cellular card and I have been trying for hours to get it to connect with no luck. I have everything set up the same as I did the first time but this one will not establish the WAN connection. I have excellent signal strength. The green light on the card blinks once in a while and then the eWon reboots itself. It has firmware 13.0 in it.

    Hi Mike,

Just to make sure, is this a 3G or 4G card?

    4G

If it is a 4G card, we'll need to update it to the 13.1 firmware version, there is an issue that causes the device to repeatedly reboot about once per minute unless this firmware is installed.

I just went out to get the firmware for the 205 and I did not see the 13.1 firmware. I'll check again.

I just ran eBuddy again and 13.0 is the latest that I can get. It says that my computer is up to date and only offers 13.0 to download into the ewon.

    Hi Mike,

Sorry it looks like the 13.1 firmware got removed from the site somehow, I'll track it down and send it to you.

Sounds good. Please also send instructions to get it in the correct location for eBuddy.

    Hi Mike,

Sorry for the delay, I needed to find out another way to get the file into the device because the one for eBuddy wasn't working. For this one, we'll need to go onto the devices FTP. so I need you to type in FTP://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx where the x's are the device IP address. then I need you to take this file and place it in that directory and reboot the device

    ewonfwr.edf (8.1 MB)

Let me know if this works

That seems to have taken care of it. Thank you.

    Tim,
I ran into the same problem. I just received my first Flexy 205 with Verizon 4G card and it keeps dropping in and out. I downloaded the ewonfwr.edf from your above link and placed it into the ftp site and rebooted. It still shows that it is on 13.0 in both the web page and eBuddy. Any ideas?

    Hello,

Sorry if the file I sent isn't working anymore, but it looks like on the manual firmware update page, that the 13.1 firmware revision is up again:

    https://websupport.ewon.biz/support/product/manual-firmware-update/manual-firmware-download

Set the Pcode to 21, the Revision to 13_1s0 pre-rerelease. The 13_1s) that isn't a pre-release is only approved for the Cosy 131 right now. Set the language to ma which will just include all of the languages. Lastly set the Filename to FTP upgrade and then you can download the edf file.

    Thanks,
    -Tim
